Job summary

SOIGNE ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS in Chandigarh invites applications for a Structural Design Engineer / Design Engineer. The role covers RCC and steel design, analysis, modelling and preparation of design calculations and drawings.

Fresh M.Tech./M.E. graduates and experienced candidates are welcome; strong fundamentals and knowledge of Indian Standards preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: M.Tech./M.E. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering / Structural Design only.
• Core competency: Structural Design should be candidate's primary area of technical expertise.

• Experience in structural analysis, design and engineering consultancy preferred.

Position: Structural Design Engineer / Design Engineer

Qualification: M.Tech. (Structures) / M.E. in Civil Engineering – (Structural Engineering / Structural Design only)

Location: Chandigarh

Employment: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures
• Structural modelling and analysis of buildings and other structures
• Preparation of structural design calculations and design reports
• Design of foundations, columns, beams, slabs and other structural elements
• Preparation and review of structural drawings and detailing
• Development of structural design schemes and engineering solutions
• Coordination of structural design with architectural and MEP requirements
• Technical review of drawings, designs and project documentation
• Technical coordination and proof checking with client teams. This may involve project based short duration travelling also.
• Ensuring designs comply with applicable Indian Standards, codes and project requirements

QUALIFICATION & PREFERENCE

Minimum Qualification: M.Tech. / M.E. in Civil Engineering with specialisation in Structural Engineering / Structural Design only.

Core Competency: Structural Design should be the candidate’s primary area of technical expertise.

Preference will be given to candidates from premier/reputed engineering institutions.
