Structural Design Engineer (Building -01)

Essential Qualification: M. Tech in Structural Engineering
Job Location: Thane, Maharashtra
Experience: 2-3 Years

We are seeking a motivated Structural Design Engineer to support the design and analysis of building structures, including residential, commercial, institutional, and public buildings. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in structural engineering principles, material behavior, and design codes.

• Assist in the structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for low-rise and mid-rise
  buildings.
• Prepare and check structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and structural layouts.
• Perform load calculations, design of structural elements (beams, columns, slabs, footings, etc.) using IS
  codes.
• Use software tools such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD for design and drafting.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and site teams to ensure structural design integration.
• Support the preparation of structural design reports, BOQs, and technical documentation for approval
  and execution.
• Conduct site visits to inspect ongoing construction and ensure design adherence.
• Assist in reviewing drawings and resolving technical issues during project execution.

Software Skills:

• Working knowledge of structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE) and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920).
• Strong understanding of structural concepts and basic foundation engineering.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior engineers.
