Job summary

Park Place Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a senior software engineer to design and ship innovative features across our product stack. You will collaborate with engineers, PMs and QA to deliver robust software solutions while adhering to modern engineering practices.

The role requires 7+ years in software development, strong .NET/C# expertise, Azure deployment experience, and familiarity with AI tools. A hybrid working model and exposure to global teams are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with strong architecture knowledge.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Angular/React.
• Proficiency in .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET.
• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD.
• Experience with unit testing and security in cloud environments.
• Strong Git and code review practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with a team of talented engineers, product managers, quality analysts to design technical solutions and build new features and enhancements to Park Place products.
• Craft high-performing, reusable code, implement unit tests, and engage in code reviews to uphold best practices and industry standards.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of .NET applications in Azure.
• Strong Experience in usingAI tools (GitHub Copilot/Cursor.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to team members.
• Participate in Sprint planning and provide accurate estimates on projects/tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, scalability, and security issues in Azure environments.
• Be an advocate of modern engineering practices & DevOps practices and be available as needed to support production deployments.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and automate business processes.
• Foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning within the team while adhering to established team processes.
• Assist in supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, including direct interactions with internal and/or external customers as needed.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of Software architecture and design principles.
• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with front end frameworks like Angular/React etc.
• In-depth knowledge of the.NET framework, C#, ASP.NET and related technologies.
• Strong Experience in usingAI ToolsGitHub copilotorCursor orClaude.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Good understanding of Test-Driven Development/Unit Testing frameworks, design patterns, security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with code analysis and review tools, such as SonarQube, CodeClimate, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Bonus Points:

• Relevant certifications such as Azure Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.
• Prior experience with Event driven architectures, distributed systems and Microservices is a big plus.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Low Code/No Code solutions.
• Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.
• Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones.
• Prior development experience with Java technologies

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
