Qualifications

• 2+ years of development experience with C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, Web APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL/MySQL databases.
• Knowledge of ADO.NET/Entity Framework or similar ORM.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cosmos DB.
• Understanding of Agile processes and CI/CD with Azure DevOps or similar.
• Knowledge of Git concepts: branching, merging, PRs, conflicts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Understand business requirements, Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications using .NET and Azure.
• Write high performing, reusable code, unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure that our code meets best practices and industry standards.
• Work closely with other engineers, product managers, quality analysts to build new features and enhancements into Park Place products and services.
• Contribute to all phases of SDLC ensuring that our products are delivered with high quality within planned release cycles.
• Work with QA to create and review test plans, help in executing functional, integration and system tests and ensure acceptance criteria is met.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs identified before and after release, either internally or by customers in the field.
• Create necessary documentation relating to work produced.
• Collaborate, share, and learn from team members, and actively follow all team processes.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of development experience using C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, Web APIs
• Experience working with a relational database like SQL Server/Azure SQL/MySQL etc.
• Knowledge of ADO.NET/Entity Framework/ any other ORM.
• Knowledge on AI tools like Github Copilot or Cursor or Claude.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Mongo DB/Azure Cosmos DB.
• Understanding of Agile process and experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a “can-do” attitude and a growth mindset towards learning new skills.

Bonus Points:

• Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals/Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.
• Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.
• Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones.
• Prior development experience with Java technologies

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
