Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development with strong architecture and design principles.
• 3+ years front-end development with Angular/React.
• In-depth knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET.
• Experience building cloud-native solutions on Azure (App Service, Functions, SQL DB).
• Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
• RESTful API design and external integrations.
• Experience with TDD/Unit Testing, design patterns, security in cloud environments.
• DevOps practices including IaC, config management, CI/CD.
• Code analysis tools like SonarQube, CodeClimate.
• Git concepts: branching, PRs, merges, conflict resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, QA to design solutions and build features.
• Write high-performing, reusable code, implement unit tests, and conduct code reviews.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for .NET apps in Azure.
• Mentor teammates and participate in sprint planning with accurate estimates.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance, scalability, and security in Azure.
• Advocate DevOps practices and support production deployments.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and automate processes.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with a team of talented engineers, product managers, quality analysts to design technical solutions and build new features and enhancements to Park Place products.
• Craft high-performing, reusable code, implement unit tests, and engage in code reviews to uphold best practices and industry standards.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of .NET applications in Azure.
• Strong Experience in using AI tools (GitHub Copilot/Cursor.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to team members.
• Participate in Sprint planning and provide accurate estimates on projects/tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, scalability, and security issues in Azure environments.
• Be an advocate of modern engineering practices & DevOps practices and be available as needed to support production deployments.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and automate business processes.
• Foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning within the team while adhering to established team processes.
• Assist in supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, including direct interactions with internal and/or external customers as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of Software architecture and design principles.
• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with front end frameworks like Angular/React etc.
• In-depth knowledge of the.NET framework, C#, ASP.NET and related technologies.
• Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions using Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Event Hubs, etc.
• Strong Experience in using AI Tools GitHub copilot or Cursor or Claude.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Good understanding of Test-Driven Development/Unit Testing frameworks, design patterns, security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with code analysis and review tools, such as SonarQube, CodeClimate, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Bonus Points

• Relevant certifications such as Azure Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.
• Prior experience with Event driven architectures, distributed systems and Microservices is a big plus.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Low Code/No Code solutions.
• Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.
• Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones.
• Prior development experience with Java technologies

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
