The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience with C# .NET, MVC/Razor, and Web APIs, and is comfortable with databases and front-end tech.

Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Understand business requirements, Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications using .NET and Azure.


• Write high performing, reusable code, unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure that our code meets best practices and industry standards.


• Work closely with other engineers, product managers, quality analysts to build new features and enhancements into Park Place products and services.


• Contribute to all phases of SDLC ensuring that our products are delivered with high quality within planned release cycles.


• Work with QA to create and review test plans, help in executing functional, integration and system tests and ensure acceptance criteria is met.


• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs identified before and after release, either internal or by customers in the field.


• Create necessary documentation relating to work produced.


• Collaborate, share, and learn from team members, and actively follow all team processes.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of development experience using C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, Web APIs


• Experience working with a relational database like SQL Server/Azure SQL/MySQL etc.


• Knowledge of ADO.NET/Entity Framework/ any other ORM.


• Knowledge on AI tools like Github Copilot or Cursor or Claude.


• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Mongo DB/Azure Cosmos DB.


• Proficiency in web development technologies like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (Angular/React or Vue.js).


• Understanding of Agile process and experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools.


• Understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• Team player with a \"can-do\" attitude and a growth mindset towards learning new skills.

Bonus Points

• Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals/Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.


• Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.


• Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones.


• Prior development experience with Java technologies.
