Job summary

Park Place Technologies in Hyderabad, India is seeking a seasoned software engineer with 4+ years of hands-on development in Azure, C#. NET, MVC/Razor Pages and Web APIs to design, build, and ship scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with product, QA, and operations to deliver high-quality code and participate in code reviews. You will implement unit tests, contribute to SDLC processes, and work with modern front-end tech such as Angular/React/Vue.js while leveraging Azure DevOps for CI/CD

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on development with Azure, C#/.NET, MVC/Razor Pages and Web APIs.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and RDBMS.
• Frontend proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular/React/Vue.js.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and design, develop and maintain software applications.
• Craft high-performing, reusable code; implement unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and QA to build new features and enhancements.
• Drive SDLC activities to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
• Work with QA to plan, execute functional/integration/system tests and ensure acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to issue resolution and post-release bug fixes; create necessary documentation.
• Foster knowledge sharing and adhere to team processes to improve engineering outcomes.

What You Will Do

• Understand business requirements, analyze, design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Craft high-performing, reusable code, implement unit tests, and engage in code reviews to uphold best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with a team of talented engineers, product managers, quality analysts to build new features and enhancements to Park Place products.
• Play a pivotal role in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure the delivery of high-quality products within planned release cycles.
• Work alongside QA to formulate and review test plans, participate in the execution of functional, integration, system tests, and ensure adherence to acceptance criteria.
• Actively contributing to issue resolution and bug fixes pre and post release.
• Create necessary documentation relating to work produced.
• Foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning within the team while adhering to established team processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience using Azure, C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages and Web APIs.
• Strong Fundamentals in Algorithms, Data Structures & RDBMS.
• Expertise in web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience with relational database like SQL Server/Azure SQL/MySQL etc.
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals and best practices such as SOLID, Object-Oriented design principles, Clean Architecture/Domain Driven Design.
• Knowledge of ADO.NET/Entity Framework/ any other ORM.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Mongo DB/Azure Cosmos DB etc.
• Understanding of Agile process and experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to break complex problems into smaller tasks and manage time effectively.
• Team player with a “can-do” attitude and a growth mindset towards learning new skills.

Bonus Points

• Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals/Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.
• Prior experience with Event driven architectures, distributed systems and Microservices is a plus.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Low Code/No Code solutions.
• Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.
• Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones.
• Prior development experience with Java technologies

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
