Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a procurement professional in Mumbai to manage end-to-end procurement for transmission line and substation projects. You will handle RFQs, supplier evaluation, purchase orders, and vendor onboarding, ensuring compliance with policies and contractual requirements.

The role requires coordination with Finance, Quality, Project, Stores and Site teams to ensure timely delivery and audit-ready records. Experience with SAP Ariba and SAP-based PO processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement for large projects.
• Hands-on with RFQs, quotations, and vendor evaluation.
• Knowledge of statutory and contractual procurement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand project BOQs, material specifications, drawings, project schedules, and procurement requirements.
• Manage procurement of project-related services such as installation, fabrication, testing & commissioning, manpower and other site services of Transmission Lines and Substations.
• Float RFQs/enquiries, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and coordinate technical and commercial evaluations.
• Prepare NFA and get the approvals from Management through Ariba.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and Service Orders through SAP.
• Monitor open POs, Work Orders, delivery schedules, and pending procurement requirements.
• Manage the complete vendor registration and onboarding process.
• Collect and verify vendor documents including company profile, statutory registrations, certifications, banking details, tax documents, technical credentials, and other required information.
• Ensure all required technical, commercial, statutory, quality, and compliance documents are collected and verified before vendor onboarding and order placement.
• Coordinate with internal departments like Finance, Accounts, Quality, Project, Stores, and Site teams for smooth processing.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved procurement procedures, contractual requirements, statutory requirements, and applicable project compliances.
• Ensure procurement records are complete, accurate, properly filed, traceable, and readily available for internal and external audits.
