Job summary

Alok Equipments Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks an experienced purchasing professional to lead the procurement of steel, exotic metals, bought-outs, and processing services for a pressure-vessel manufacturer. You will manage RFQs, supplier comparisons, and open-PO follow-ups, negotiating terms and expediting as needed.

Responsibilities include vendor development, coordinating transport and dispatch logistics, and daily ERP-based record-keeping to maintain accurate procurement data and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• BE / Diploma Mechanical or equivalent graduate
• 6+ years of purchasing experience in heavy fabrication
• Strong negotiation and procurement skills
