Job summary

Connectwell Industries in Maharashtra is seeking a Purchase professional with 3–4 years of experience in direct material procurement. The role requires BOM-based purchasing, P2P cycle expertise, and strong supplier coordination to ensure material availability and quality.

The candidate should be proficient in coordinating material requirements and driving cost-saving initiatives, with exposure to brass/metal components manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Driving cost-saving initiatives in procurement.

Responsibilities

• Release monthly schedules to suppliers and arrange material within the required timeline to avoid line loss.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material quality and quantity; resolve related issues.
• Handle PR to PO conversion and awareness of Debit Note / Credit Note processes.
• Manage GRN and QC clearance of materials, supplier audits, and NC closure.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Candidate should have experience in Purchase of Direct Material (BOM Purchase).


• Candidate should have experience in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.


• Basic knowledge of Brass Turned Components, Fasteners, Machined Components, and their manufacturing processes.


• Basic awareness of manufacturing processes for Brass, Copper, MS, Boron Steel Turned Components, and Fasteners.


• Releasing monthly schedules to suppliers and arranging material within the required timeline to ensure there is no line loss.


• Coordinating with suppliers for the quality and quantity of materials and resolving related issues.


• PR to PO conversion and awareness of Debit Note / Credit Note processes.


• Handling GRN and QC clearance of materials, Supplier Audits, and NC (Non-Conformance) Closure.


• Driving cost-saving initiatives in procurement.
