Job summary

Nuvotec Titanium Process Equipment is seeking a procurement professional with strong material purchase knowledge for the heavy fabrication sector. You will manage engineering materials, stainless steel, and titanium fabrication supply chains, from indents to PO, emphasizing negotiations and supplier selection.

Responsibilities include vendor data upkeep, import/export documentation, LC drafts, cost analysis, MIS reporting, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining integrity and standards

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of material purchase in manufacturing and fabrication industries.
• Exposure to engineering materials, fabrication, stainless steel, and titanium fabrication preferred.
• Experience with raw material purchases and consumables.
• Handling indents, supplier selection, RFQs, price analysis, and approvals.
• Excellent negotiation on price, terms, and contracts with integrity.
• End-to-end procurement, including domestic and import shipments.
• Documentation for PO, LC drafts, import/export, and vendor data maintenance.
• Material costing, market price analysis, and MIS reporting.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP MM; familiar with ISO 9000-2015, OHSAS & ASME.

Responsibilities

• Receive indents, select suppliers, issue enquiries, and collect quotes.
• Prepare comparative statements and obtain HO D approvals for PO release.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contract conditions.
• Ensure timely follow-up and delivery of ordered materials.
• Maintain vendor databank and manage import/export documentation.
• Coordinate domestic and import shipments and related paperwork.
• Prepare LC drafts for finance, and related import/export docs.
• Costing and price analysis, and provide MIS to management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9000-2015, OHSAS, and ASME standards.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Candidate should have strong knowledge Material Purchase in Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
• 2 ) Should have good procurement exposure in Engineering materials, Fabrication, Stainless Steel. Exposure in titanium Fabrication industry is added advantage.
• 3) Knowledge in Raw Material Purchase, Consumables.
• 4) Receiving indents from end users. Right selection of suppliers, issuing enquiries, receiving price quotations, Preparation of comparative statement, obtaining approval from HOD for Purchase order release.
• 5) Should have Good negotiation skills on price, payment terms & contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity.
• 6) Responsible for follow-up of materials & getting the ordered materials in-time.
• 7) Knowledge in Import and export of materials. Maintaining vendor data base.
• 8) Follow-up for domestic and import shipments.
• 9) Documentation works - , Purchase order preparation, LC drafts for finance department, document preparation for import & export.
• 10) Material Costing and market price analysis. Providing MIS to the management.
• 11) Knowledge in MS office and ERP system ( specifically in MM Module), exposure to ISO 9000-2015, OHSAS & ASME standards.
