Job summary

Marico is seeking an experienced export logistics professional to manage end-to-end export operations from Mumbai. The role involves coordinating with CHAs, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure smooth clearance and timely dispatch of goods.

You will oversee sea freight bookings, plan container loads, and prepare export documents such as invoices and bills of lading while adhering to regulatory requirements. Strong communication with sales, production, and finance teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-7 years prior experience in Exports.

Responsibilities

• Export Execution: Manage end-to-end export operations, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, compliance with international trade regulations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Sea Freight & Shipment Management: Oversee sea freight bookings, monitor shipment schedules, and ensure cost-effective and timely dispatch of goods.
• Coordination with CHAs & Shipping Lines: Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHAs), freight forwarders, and shipping lines for smooth clearance and movement of export consignments.
• Container Load Planning: Plan and optimize container loads to maximize space utilization and minimize freight costs, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with shipping standards.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and verify export documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal teams (sales, production, finance) and external partners to ensure alignment and timely execution of export orders.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs clearance.
