Job summary

AMC Global Freight Forwarding in Mumbai is seeking an Air Export Operations Executive to manage end-to-end air export shipments, from booking to departure. You will coordinate with customers, airlines, overseas agents, and brokers to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience in air forwarding, good communication, and proficiency with airway bills, customs docs, and freight software. You will balance multiple shipments and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of air export freight forwarding procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with AWB, customs documentation, and airline procedures.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and freight-forwarding software.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end air export shipments from booking to final departure.
• Coordinate with customers, airlines, overseas agents, transporters, and customs brokers.
• Prepare and verify export documentation, including AWB, commercial invoice, packing list, and shipping instructions.
• Coordinate cargo pickup, customs clearance, cargo handover, and airline acceptance.
• Prepare and issue HAWB/MAWB and coordinate manifesting.
• Track shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and overseas agents.
• Coordinate with the airline for flight schedules, space confirmation, amendments, and shipment discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and compliance with customs and airline requirements.
• Handle shipment queries, delays, amendments, and operational issues.
• Maintain proper shipment records and coordinate with the accounts team for billing and job closure.
