Prominent Consultant seeks an experienced IT leader to steer the organization's IT infrastructure, SAP ERP landscape, and cybersecurity across Head Office and multiple plants. You will ensure reliable IT operations, seamless integration of SAP with plant systems, and cost-optimized IT services while aligning IT strategy with business goals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Electronics or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, SAP ERP administration, and IT operations across multiple locations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead IT infrastructure across Head Office and plants (servers, storage, networks, data centers, cloud, backup, DR).
• Oversee SAP ERP landscape (ECC/S/4HANA, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, FICO, HCM, EHS) and SAP Basis administration.
• Drive SAP-plant system integration (DCS/SCADA, MES, LIMS, WMS, dispatch).
• Ensure cybersecurity policies, risk controls, and licensing compliance.
• Prepare annual IT CAPEX/OPEX budgets and monitor expenditures.

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead the organization's IT infrastructure, SAP ERP landscape, network operations, end-user computing, cybersecurity, and IT service delivery across the Head Office and multiple plant locations. The role involves ensuring reliable IT operations, seamless integration of SAP with plant systems, business continuity, cost optimization, and alignment of IT strategy with overall business objectives.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage servers, storage, virtualization, data centres, cloud infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery operations across all locations.
• Ensure high availability of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet, and inter-site connectivity between Head Office and manufacturing plants.
• Oversee IT infrastructure capacity planning, hardware lifecycle management, upgrades, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
• Maintain IT asset inventories and ensure software licensing compliance.

Manage the SAP ERP landscape, including SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, covering applicable modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, FICO, HCM, and EHS.

• Oversee SAP Basis administration, system performance, security, user authorisations, transport management, patching, upgrades, and system availability.
• Drive integration between SAP and manufacturing systems, including DCS/SCADA, MES, LIMS, weighbridge, warehouse management, dispatch, and other plant applications.
• Implement IT security policies, procedures, and controls to minimise cybersecurity risks.

Prepare and manage the annual IT CAPEX and OPEX budgets and monitor expenditure against approved plans.

• Evaluate, negotiate, and manage IT vendor contracts, software subscriptions, AMCs, and service-level agreements

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline; relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an advantage.
• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, SAP ERP administration, and IT operations, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-location organisation.
• Hands-on experience managing SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments, SAP Basis, security, authorisations, and system integrations.
