India Glycols Limited in Uttarakhand seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Leader to drive site-wide IT strategy, oversee the local IT team, and ensure cost-effective solutions aligned with business needs.

The role covers system integrity, security, SAP support, and cross-functional collaboration with HO and central IT. You will manage budgets, vendor contracts, backups, and ensure uptime across LAN/WAN, servers, and cloud apps.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/EC or MCA is required.
• 12–15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Applications Management.
• Proven experience in Server and Storage management.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Strategy: Analyze business requirements across departments to propose IT solutions that drive cost reduction and increase productivity across departments at site.
• Team Leaders: Manage & Technically Guide the site IT team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting periodic job result appraisals.
• Budget & Projects: Complete IT projects by coordinating resources and timetables in accordance with business needs and defined budgets (including system updates and migrations).
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for hardware/software procurement in consultation with HO team, maintenance contracts, and license management.
• Innovation & change management - proposing secure innovations using AI, agentic AI across business processes and provide support for their implementation in close coordination with cross functional team & central SAP & IT team.

Operations & Maintenance

• System Integrity: Monitor the performance and ensure integrity, uptime of the entire IT infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Routers, Firewalls, Servers, Network, Office 365 admin, End point Protection, Email Protection, Disk Encryption, DLP deployment).
• Troubleshooting: Address hardware and software issues; coordinate with HO team for centrally hosted and cloud applications.
• Asset Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT assets and manage software licenses to ensure compliance, timely updates and upgrades.
• Security & Continuity: Preserve assets by executing proper backup & restore procedures & information security measures.

Cross-Functional Support

• User Support: Provide administration and troubleshooting for site users regarding Domain, Email, and Operating Systems.
• SAP Support: Resolve site-user level SAP admin issues and provide solution to module specific issues of Site users, by engaging with central SAP Team.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Candidates must possess hands-on experience in the following areas:

Server & Operating Systems

• OS Administration: Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2019, 2016, 2012, 2008) and Client OS (Windows 11, 10, 8).
• Database Management: Basic understanding of SQL Server & MySQL, specifically regarding Backup & Recovery procedures.
• Office Suite: Management of Office 365 complete suite, Office 2016/2013 environments.

Networking & Security

• Network Architecture: Maintenance of LAN (Wired & Wireless), WAN (MPLS, ILL, SD-WAN), and VLAN Administration.
• Connectivity: VPN Client management and remote access support.
• Cyber Security: Configuration and troubleshooting of UTM, Firewalls, and Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT/E&C OR MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1215 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Applications Management.
  • Proven experience in Server and Storage management.
