Job summary

Lupin Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a Senior Business Development professional to lead identification, evaluation, and execution of in-licensing, co-marketing, and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with our portfolio and growth objectives.

You will conduct market assessments, perform due diligence, and build robust business cases for new assets, driving end-to-end deal execution and alliance management with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharma business development is preferred in a multinational or leading Indian company.
• Strong financial evaluation and due diligence capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-licensing, co-marketing, and partnerships aligned with portfolio and growth.
• Conduct market assessments, gap analyses, commercial due diligence, and asset evaluations.
• Drive end-to-end deal execution, partner engagement, valuation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal for integration.
• Build relationships with domestic and global pharma/biotech partners to sustain a BD pipeline.
• Monitor industry trends to identify growth opportunities for the portfolio.
