Job summary

Lupin in Santacruz, Mumbai is seeking a Sr. Manager - Inlicensing & Business Development to lead deal sourcing, due diligence, and end-to-end execution of licensing opportunities.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, and Legal teams to build robust business cases, negotiate terms, and manage alliances, strengthening Lupin's portfolio and growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation, and execution of in-licensing, co-marketing, and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with Lupin's portfolio and growth objectives.
• Conduct market assessments, portfolio gap analyses, commercial due diligence, and financial evaluations to build robust business cases for new assets.
• Drive end-to-end deal execution, including partner engagement, opportunity screening, valuation, negotiation, contract finalization, and alliance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to assess opportunities and ensure successful integration of licensed products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and global pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare partners to create a sustainable business development pipeline.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging therapeutic areas to identify growth opportunities and strengthen Lupin's portfolio.
