Job summary

Vashi Integrated Solutions in Pune district, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead multiple warehouses, ensure high accuracy and OTIF targets. The role emphasizes SOP compliance, Lean initiatives, safety, cost control, and team development for regional operations.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, standardize processes, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with regional leadership to optimize space and manpower while ensuring timely reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in warehouse operations.
• Proven track record in improving accuracy and on-time dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs, safety standards and GMP-like controls.
• Experience leading warehouse teams across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth warehouse operations across all assigned warehouses.
• Drive Inventory Accuracy of 99.99% through effective inventory control and cycle counting.
• Achieve Dispatch OTIF target (>99%) by ensuring timely order processing and dispatch.
• Reduce warehouse cost per order through manpower optimization, process improvements, space utilization, and waste elimination.
• Standardize warehouse processes and ensure adherence to all SOPs.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Warehouse Managers and their teams across the region.
• Optimize manpower deployment and improve productivity across all warehouses.
• Drive Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track regional warehouse KPIs and present performance reviews to the National Head – Warehousing.
• Support new warehouse setup, expansion, relocation, and process implementation projects.
• Ensure accurate and timely MIS reporting for warehouse performance, inventory, productivity, and compliance.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the region.

Job description

• Ensure smooth warehouse operations across all assigned warehouses.
• Drive Inventory Accuracy of 99.99% through effective inventory control and cycle counting.
• Achieve Dispatch OTIF target (>99%) by ensuring timely order processing and dispatch.
• Reduce warehouse cost per order through manpower optimization, process improvements, space utilization, and waste elimination.
• Standardize warehouse processes and ensure adherence to all SOPs.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure optimum space utilization and proper storage management.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure timely closure of stock variances.
• Review ageing, blocked, and slow-moving inventory and initiate corrective actions.
• Minimize customer complaints related to warehouse operations through root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure proper packing standards to prevent transit damage.
• Conduct periodic warehouse audits and ensure closure of audit observations.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor warehouse infrastructure and material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Warehouse Managers and their teams across the region.
