Job summary

TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) in Indore invites applications for a Warehouse Supervisor who will oversee day-to-day operations across inbound, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring smooth, on-time execution and strict adherence to SOPs.

You will allocate work to warehouse associates, monitor inventory accuracy, support cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, train team members on safety practices, and prepare daily MIS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory activities.
• Ensure smooth and timely execution of warehouse operations as per customer requirements and defined SOPs.
• Manage and allocate work to warehouse associates, loaders, pickers and other operational staff.
• Monitor receiving and dispatch activities, ensuring accurate quantity and documentation.
• Ensure proper put-away, binning, stacking and material identification within the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts, stock audits and physical verification.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, damages and operational issues.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and movement of materials to minimise damage and loss.
• Coordinate with customer, transporters, operations, inventory and other internal teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, manpower deployment and shift-wise performance.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports such as inbound/outbound, inventory, productivity, attendance and daily MIS.
• Ensure adherence to 5S, safety standards, SOPs and statutory requirements within the warehouse.
• Train and guide team members on warehouse processes, safety practices and customer requirements.
• Monitor warehouse equipment such as hand pallet trucks, forklifts, scanners and other material-handling equipment, where applicable.
• Escalate operational challenges, manpower issues and customer concerns to the Warehouse Manager/Site In-charge.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, inventory accuracy and cost efficiency.
