Job summary

abcoffee is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead concept development through site execution for our store network in India. You will create layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and detailed drawings, and ensure brand identity and customer experience across locations.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with architects, vendors, and internal teams, travel for site visits, and uphold design standards while optimizing budgets in a fast-growing cafe brand.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in interior design, retail, cafe or hospitality projects.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end store/interior design and execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and MEP coordination.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination.

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead the design and execution of abcoffee stores across locations. The role will own the journey from concept development to site execution, ensuring that every store reflects abcoffee's brand identity, functionality, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interior design and store design for new outlets, renovations, and expansion projects.
• Develop concepts, layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and detailed design drawings.
• Translate brand guidelines into scalable and functional café formats.
• Prepare and review BOQs, working drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure execution is aligned with approved designs, timelines, quality, and budgets.
• Identify cost-effective design and material solutions without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
• Support new store rollouts (NSO) and ensure design standards are consistently maintained.
• Troubleshoot design and execution challenges at site and drive timely resolutions.
• Build and maintain a strong network of designers, contractors, fabricators, and vendors.

What We're Looking For

• 5-8 years of experience in interior design, retail, QSR, café, hospitality, or commercial projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end store/interior design and execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop/Illustrator and relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, MEP coordination, and construction detailing.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple projects.
• Strong eye for detail, aesthetics, functionality, and brand consistency.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and store launches.
