Job summary

Sone India is seeking a Senior Interior Design Lead to manage all aspects of design and creative output for hospitality and commercial interiors. You will lead teams, ensure client-aligned deliverables, and drive projects to successful, on-time completion.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and budgeting skills, with hands-on involvement from concept through execution. You will mentor staff and coordinate with sales, ops, and other departments to maintain project quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years professional experience on commercial and hospitality interiors.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality design and leading teams on high-profile projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to present design concepts to clients.
• Process oriented with ability to motivate team members.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and cost estimation knowledge; understanding of P&L.
• Hands-on experience with materials, costing, GFC details.

Responsibilities

• Project In charge: design work with sales team, lead client presentations/pitches in the region and collaboratively manage design department with the design head.
• Lead the design and creative elements of projects and act as the main client contact for design discussions.
• Ensure all projects stay on track and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Mentor team members with guidance, feedback, QA/QC, and design methodology direction.
• Drive internal coordination with different departments to ensure alignment on design, cost, time, and output.
• Work with the operations team to ensure design intent is realized on the ground and resolve client issues.

• The person will ensure that the design and creative deliverables are aligned to client expectations and executed within stipulated time and budget.
