Job summary

Hexaspace, Ahmedabad-based interior design firm, is seeking an experienced interior designer to lead projects from first client meeting to handover across residential and commercial spaces.

You will translate client visions into concepts, manage budgets and teams, review drawings and BOQs, and mentor junior designers while ensuring design intent on site. This role requires a strong portfolio, proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp/Enscape, and a proven delivery track record in time and budget.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial interior design.
• A strong portfolio of completed, executed projects — not just renders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools such as Enscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects end to end — from concept and space planning to execution and handover.
• Understand client requirements, lifestyle, and budget — and turn them into designs clients say yes to.
• Develop concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and 3D views for client presentations.
• Review and sign off working drawings, elevations, and BOQs before they go to site.
• Guide and mentor junior designers — raising the standard of every output.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and vendors to keep design intent intact on site.
• Track design timelines and ensure every project meets Hexaspace’s quality standards.
