Job summary

TUD Spaces Pvt. Ltd. invites a project-based interior design freelancer to collaborate with its Ahmedabad team, translating client briefs into concept, floor plans, and immersive visuals.

You will develop 2D layouts, 3D renderings, mood boards and material schemes using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3ds Max, and coordinate sourcing, site visits, and on-site activities to ensure drawings align with budget, quality standards, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in interior design concept development and space planning.
• Ability to present concepts to clients and translate briefs into drawings.
• Proficiency in creating detailed working drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand requirements, budget, and brand needs.
• Develop design concepts, 2D floor plans, 3D visualizations, and mood boards.
• Prepare electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, flooring, and furniture layouts.
• Source materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting within budget.
• Conduct site visits for accurate measurements and progress checks.
• Oversee on-site activities like carpentry, false ceilings, and installations.
• Ensure work aligns with approved shop drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; monitor procurement timelines.

Our teams collaborate with architects, developers, and brands to deliver turnkey interior solutions — from concept to execution — grounded in smart materiality, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge visualization.

Role & Responsibilities

• Project based freelancer work.


• Meet with clients across the Ahmedabad/Gujarat region to understand their requirements, budget, and lifestyle/brand needs.


• Develop design concepts, 2D floor plans, 3D visualizations, and mood boards using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.


• Prepare detailed working drawings (electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, flooring, and furniture layouts).


• Source and select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting fixtures according to client preferences and budget.


• Conduct detailed site visits for accurate measurements and ongoing assessments.


• Oversee site activities including carpentry, false ceiling, painting, modular kitchen installation, and civil modifications.


• Ensure all work is executed exactly according to approved shop drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.


• Proactively identify and resolve on-site technical issues, clashes, or design discrepancies.


• Coordinate with contractors, site labour, and external vendors.


• Track procurement timelines and manage material delivery sequences to avoid project delays.
