HomeArt Design Studio in Ahmedabad, Gujarat seeks a Senior Interior Designer to lead residential projects from concept to execution. The candidate will develop design concepts, prepare detailed drawings, and coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure high standards of design and execution.

The role requires 2–3+ years of relevant experience, strong materials/finishes knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/Enscape/V-Ray, Photoshop and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• 2–3+ years of interior design experience, preferably residential.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/Enscape/V-Ray, Photoshop and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage residential interior design projects from concept to completion.
• Develop creative interior design concepts based on client requirements.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, furniture layouts, working drawings, elevations, sections and ceiling plans.
• Create and review 3D visualizations and presentations.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and other design elements.
• Conduct client meetings and present design concepts and proposals.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, vendors and consultants.
• Conduct site visits and ensure execution follows approved designs and drawings.
• Review measurements, BOQs, material specifications and project details.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate multiple design requirements.
• Identify issues and provide practical solutions.
• Mentor junior designers and support the design team.

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate should have strong design sensibility, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to independently manage residential interior projects from concept to execution.

You will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring that projects are delivered with high standards of design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage residential interior design projects from concept to completion.
• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, furniture layouts, working drawings, elevations, sections, and ceiling plans.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of relevant interior design experience, preferably in residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/Enscape/V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of working drawings and site execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of design aesthetics.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating completed interior projects.
