Role Description

The Interior Designer role at Hc Interior is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare drawings and presentations, and manage space planning for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities understanding project requirements, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role also involves overseeing design implementation on-site, ensuring work aligns with approved plans, budgets, and timelines, and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E selection to create cohesive and functional spaces.
• Strong Space Planning skills to optimize layouts for usability, aesthetics, and building regulations.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles to coordinate effectively with architectural teams.
• Ability to develop and interpret Construction Drawings for contractors and project stakeholders.
• Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Effective communication, client management, and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects on-site.
