Job summary

Selective Global Search is seeking a Talent Management HR professional in Chennai with 5–10 years of experience to lead talent management initiatives. The role focuses on developing strategies, driving succession planning, and strengthening performance management across the organization.

The candidate will partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to close critical talent gaps, design IDPs, and promote employee development and retention through analytics-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of HR/talent management experience.
• Experience in talent reviews, succession planning and career development.
• Exposure to performance management systems and leadership development.
• Familiar with HR analytics and workforce metrics.

• Drive Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and Career Development initiatives for critical roles.
• Identify high-potential employees and create Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
• Manage and strengthen the Performance Management System with goal setting, reviews and calibration.
• Develop competency frameworks, career paths, and leadership development programs.
• Partner with business leaders to identify talent gaps and future workforce needs.
• Design and execute employee development, assessment and learning interventions with L&D.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement talent management strategies aligned with business and organizational goals.
• Drive Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and Career Development initiatives for critical roles.
• Identify high-potential employees and create Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
• Manage and strengthen the Performance Management System, including goal setting, reviews, and performance calibration.
• Develop competency frameworks, career paths, and leadership development programs.
• Partner with business leaders to identify critical talent gaps and future workforce requirements.
• Design and execute employee development, assessment, and learning interventions in coordination with L&D.
• Track talent metrics such as retention, internal movements, high-potential talent, succession readiness, and leadership pipeline.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives for key talent.
• Leverage HR analytics and employee data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners and functional heads to ensure effective implementation of talent initiatives.
