Godrej Material Handling, India's largest manufacturer of forklift trucks, seeks a result-oriented professional to drive rental business development in the assigned territory and ensure timely deployment, commissioning, and operational readiness of rental equipment.

You will strengthen customer relationships through regular visits, coordinate with dealers and customers for equipment management, and support aftermarket service, warranty handling, CRM data accuracy, and continuous process

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering, or a graduate in any discipline.
• Postgraduate management qualification preferred.

Job Description

The incumbent will report to Service Head of the branch.

Rental Business Development & Execution

• Support growth and expansion of the rental business in the assigned territory.
• Ensure timely deployment, commissioning, and operational readiness of rental equipment.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Coordinate with dealers and customers for effective rental equipment management.

Aftermarket Service Execution

• Ensure PM (Preventive Maintenance) and BM (Breakdown Maintenance) calls are attended within the defined timelines.
• Monitor service performance parameters such as:
• First Response Time (FRT)
• Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
• Preventive Maintenance Adherence
• Equipment Uptime
• Work closely with dealers to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of service activities in CRM (SFDC).

Warranty Management

• Manage warranty claims, complaint resolution, and warranty-related documentation.
• Ensure defective warranty parts are returned to HO with complete documentation and proper tracking.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely closure of warranty cases.
• Maintain warranty compliance and reporting standards.

Systems & Process Compliance

• Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in CRM (SFDC) and other company systems.
• Facilitate timely vendor and dealer invoice processing and payment clearance.
• Maintain service records, reports, and operational documentation.
• Drive process adherence and continuous improvement initiative

Organizational Imperatives

• Team Development: Fostering the growth and development of team members and subordinates.
• Achieving Operational Excellence through TPM, Kaizen, 5S, TOC, GreenCo and CII Business Excellence
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and internal processes.

Note: The incumbent would be required to travel extensively in the assigned territory for the purpose of Company-s business as per the job requirements. The incumbent should possess a two-wheeler & valid driving license.

Qualification Details

Essential Qualification :

Degree / Diploma in Engineering OR Graduate in any discipline

Preferred Qualification :

Post Graduate qualification in Management

Experience Details

Essential Experience :

2 years of relevant work experience for Degree in Engineering OR 4 years of relevant work experience for Diploma in Engineering/ Graduate in any discipline

Preferred Experience :

Experience in service of industrial products like MHE
