Job summary

Deluxe Recycling in Palwal, Haryana is seeking a Sr Executive / AM - Dispatch (Shift Operation) to lead dispatch activities and ensure timely deliveries.

You will coordinate transport with third-party vendors, plan vehicle availability, and liaise with internal departments to execute the dispatch plan. The role requires 3-6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, with shift-based work and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized institute.
• MBA/PG/Diploma in supply chain management, Material Management, or related field from reputed institution.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in a dispatch, logistics, or transportation role in any manufacturing or service industries.
• Desirable: Experience in Best Manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Plan to ensure availability of transport vehicles to adhere to the timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with third party vendors for provision of logistics from plants.
• Ensure close liaising with the respective departments for dispatch of customer orders as per the dispatch plan.
• Guide loading and unloading operations of finished goods into containers, while adhering to specific requirements of each product.
• Coordinate with internal departments to implement policies for handling rejected goods by customers.
• Prepare and analyse last day reports of ingot and liquid alloy movement from plants.
• Conduct reviews of ingot alloy stacking and packaging norms before dispatch.
• Follow up with customers on overdue (payment receipts and shortages).
• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
• Monitor vehicle and driver performance to ensure timely deliveries.
• Adjust dispatch schedules as necessary to accommodate unexpected events like traffic delays, weather conditions, or urgent orders.
• Track the status of dispatched orders and provide real-time updates to customers and relevant teams.
• Use tracking systems and software to monitor and document all shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery times, and customer interactions.
• Ensure all dispatch documents, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies regarding vehicle use and driver conduct.
