Job summary

CMR Group in India is seeking a Sr Executive / AM - Dispatch (Shift Operation) for FLO-Dispatch to ensure timely delivery and efficient logistics across plants.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years experience in dispatch, logistics or transportation, a bachelors degree, and exposure to dispatch software and GPS tracking. The role is based at Palwal, Haryana with rotation shifts and a competitive CTC.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have bachelors degree in any stream from recognized institute.
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a dispatch, logistics, or transportation role.
• Desirable: MBA/PG Diploma in supply chain management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Experience in Best Manufacturing process and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plan to ensure availability of transport vehicles to adhere to timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain relationships with third party vendors for logistics from plants.
• Coordinate with internal departments to dispatch customer orders per plan.
• Guide loading/unloading into containers per product requirements.
• Prepare and analyse last day reports of ingot and liquid alloy movement.
• Dispatch coordination: schedule drivers/vehicles; monitor performance.
• Shipment tracking: real-time updates and documentation.

Qualification:

Essential:

Candidate should have bachelors degree in any stream from recognized institute.

Desired:

MBA/PG / Diploma in supply chain management / Material Management/BusinessAdministrati on, or a related field form any reputed institution.

Experience:

Essential:

Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a dispatch, logistics, or transportation role in any Manufacturing or service industries.

Desirable:

Experience in Best Manufacturing process.

Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.

Knowledge of transportation regulations specific to the region.

Customer service experience.

Job Profile:

Plan to ensure availability of transport vehicles to adhere to the timely delivery to customers

Maintain strong relationships with third party vendors for provision of logistics from plants

Ensure close liaising with the respective departments for dispatch of customer orders as per the dispatch plan

Guide loading and unloading operations of finished goods into containers, while adhering to specific requirements of each product

Coordinate with internal departments to implement policies for handling rejected goods by customers

Prepare and analyse last day reports of ingot and liquid alloy movement from plants

Conduct reviews of ingot alloy stacking and packaging norms before dispatch

Follow up with customers on overdue (payment receipts and shortages)

Dispatch Coordination:

Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.

Monitor vehicle and driver performance to ensure timely deliveries.

Adjust dispatch schedules as necessary to accommodate unexpected events like traffic delays, weather conditions, or urgent orders.

Shipment Tracking:

Track the status of dispatched orders and provide real-time updates to customers and relevant teams.

Use tracking systems and software to monitor and document all shipments.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery times, and customer interactions.

Ensure all dispatch documents, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.

Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies regarding vehicle use and driver conduct.
