Job summary

Mantras2Success Consultants in India seeks a seasoned Tendering/Proposal Manager to oversee tendering, cost estimation, and techno-commercial proposals. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors to ensure accurate submissions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in tendering/proposal management, a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, and experience in Oil & Gas/EPC/Engineering projects. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Tendering / Proposal Management.
• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Engineering / Industrial Projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tender preparation, estimation, costing and proposal submission.
• Good understanding of technical & commercial tender documents.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle tendering, EOI, open tender identification and proposal submissions.
• Review tender documents, technical/commercial requirements and contractual terms.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, bid documents and techno-commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors during the tendering process.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and support negotiations.
• Track labour, steel, copper, nickel, commodity prices and currency exchange rates.
• Identify project risks, assumptions and contingencies during estimation.
• Maintain records of estimates, assumptions and tender submissions.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and client interactions.
