Job summary

Mijas Consultants Jaipur in Talegaon Dabhade area seeks a QA Engineer to ensure Process Assurance at the Press Shop line, manage rejection analysis within CFT and drive root-cause investigations. The role includes maintaining dimensional PIST and coordinating with CFT to monitor controls.

You will review the Control Plan, support MSES and audits (IATF), implement Kaizen on the shop floor, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with Production Engineers on key product characteristics.

Qualifications

• QA Engineer with experience in manufacturing quality systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D).
• Familiarity with IATF and audit processes.

• Responsible for Process Assurance at Press Shop line.
• Handle rejection analysis within CFT and drive root-cause investigations.

• Review and follow the Control Plan, MSES and audit requirements (IATF, other).
• Execute Kaizen on the shop floor and support continuous improvement.
• Interface with Production Engineer to ensure key characteristics are checked (F/M/L).
• Manage corrective actions with on-time closures and 8D reporting.
• Perform product/line audits to ensure process stability and quality.

Job description

Summary of Role: The QA Engineer is responsible for Process Assurance at Press Shop line. Handling the rejection analysis within CFT and working on the root cause. Maintaining the dimensional PIST and coordinating with CFT to control and monitor the same. QA Engineer is responsible for Control plan review, MSES, IATF and all other Audits compliance.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for following all desired PPES in Press Shop.
• Responsible for Press Part Quality.
• Responsible for dimensional PIST & weld PIST-monitoring & improvement.
• Kaizen implementation on shop floor.
• Responsible for customer audit & open point closure.
• CSR monthly submission to customer.
• Responsible for QMS documentation on shop floor.
• Responsible for first time through stamping & improvement.
• Schedule, coordinate and report from Table cross-functional meetings to address internal concern. (CFT Round Table meeting).
• Interface with Production Engineer to ensure all quality checks are addressing the key characteristics of the product. (F/M/L and set up approval).
• Responsible for all aspects of corrective actions (on time closures, repeat concerns, root cause, 8D etc.).
• Conduct product audit to verify stability of the process.
• Interface with CMM team to ensure dimensional stability being met as per customer requirements. Mean shifts and SPC data.
• Ensure that an investigation takes place on all process failures, such as corrective actions, product audit Issues.
• Perform system audits of part production programs and part reviews to ensure acceptable quality levels are maintained and properly monitored.
• Perform analyses for verification of quality concern corrective action effectiveness.
• Approve Inspection Reports.
• Review and update required documentation.
• Conduct process audits to ensure accuracy wrt. To Control Plan and inspection aids are present meeting the line process flow.
• Ensure that the requirements of the Control Plan are being fulfilled.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities for production.
• Responsible for scrap reduction initiatives as it relates to reduction in Risk Prior Numbers. (RPN) Support and drive as required.
• Documentation Review for accuracy and timely completion all quality programs (i.e. quality alerts, Control Plans, SOS JES).
• Maintain control of rejected parts in the plant, Hold Area as per Nonconforming Material Process.
• Verification to clear the rejection and quarantine material within 24 /48 Hrs. And check updated the same on scrap and quarantine register.
• Review and analysis of dimensional data from 1st piece layouts, gauge R&R and capability studies.
• Plan the training and adhere the same.
• Responsible for MSES implementation.
• Responsible for maintaining 5S.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Responsible for MQS Implementation.
• Responsible for ARMAXX Implementation.
• Responsible for Stamping HLC.
