Job summary

Files & Tools is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to bring quality standards into every product and drive improvement projects. You will lead QMS practices, ensure defect-free supplies, and mentor staff across the plant.

Key focus areas include reducing rejections and scrap, closing customer complaints via CAPA, auditing suppliers, and enabling data-driven problem solving to boost yield and cost efficiency. This role requires hands-on QA leadership in a manufacturing setup.

Qualifications

• Must maintain and improve QMS practices.
• Review dispatch plan and align QA activities including inspection, PDI, and audits.
• Train new joinees and ensure timley calibration of lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outgoing quality control for defect-free supplies.
• Manage customer complaints, quick closure, and CAPA.
• Review monthly dispatch plan and alignment of QA activities, inspection, PDI, 3rd party audits etc.
• Bring customer-centric culture across the plant.
• Reduce rejections, scrap, and improve yield.
• Audit suppliers’ RM, packing and ancillaries.
• Control C1 WIP below 1000 doz.
• Be in charge of QMS and lead MR for plant and conduct MRM & certifications.
• Update specs and packing in FALCO or company server.
• Train new joinees and conduct process/product audits.
• Use statistical tools and structured problem solving for root-cause analysis.
• Support Sales and NPD teams with required samples.
• Maintain inspection lab and equipment with timely calibration.
• Drive continuous improvements in quality and cost.

The purpose of this role is to bring quality assurance & quality standards in each product and to drive quality improvement projects.

Ensure defect free supplies as per the scope.

“Customer first & Quality first” culture through robust processes, achieve Quality KPI’s and engagement of workforce in the plant.

Ensure QMS practises are followed and strengthen.

• Ensure control over out going quality for defect free supplies.
• Manage Customer complaints and quick closure and CAPA.
• Review Monthly dispatch plan and alignment of QA activities, inspection, PDI, 3rd party audits etc.
• Bring in Customer centric culture across the plants.
• Reduction in Overall Rejections, Scrap and improvement in yield.
• Supplier audit RM, packing and ancillaries
• Control C1 wip below 1000 doz
• Incharge of QMS and Lead MR for plant and conduct MRM and certifications.
• Updation of spec. and packing details in FALCO or Company server.
• Training to new joinees
• Conduct process and product audits.
• Use of statistical tools and use of structured problem solving for root cause analysis.
• Support Sales team & NPD team by submission of required samples.
• Ensure upkeep of Inspection lab & equipments & timley calibration.
• Drive continuous improvements to improve on the Quality and cost.
