Job summary

Wabtec Rohtak is recruiting for a QA/QC role focused on incoming inspections, line quality, and supplier coordination. You will validate corrective actions with the SQA team and ensure compliance with PPAP/FAI and related documentation.

The candidate should drive process improvements, reduce production losses due to part quality, and help implement IMS requirements across plant operations with strong attention to audits and records.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC and PPAP/FAI processes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of BOP parts and ERP clearance.
• Report quality issues to supplier and SQA team for containment and RCA.
• Ensure PPAP/FAI documentation for new development and PCR processes.

Job description

Main responsibilities:

• Incoming inspection of BOP parts & ERP Clearnce.


• Report incoming, line quality and Customer quality issues to supplier & SQA team for containment action & RCA. Validate corrective and preventive actions with the SQA team/ suppliers.


• Ensure PPAP/FAI and documentation, in case of any new development,alternate development & PCR .Preparing IQP,Verify AOI, packing standard,etc as per FAI check list


• Adhere QRQC/WIM methodology for incoming / line /0km quality issues and ensure 2-10-30days reactivity.


• Responsible to maintain end customer/TPI inspection requiremnts.


• Responsible to mainatin zero production loss due to part Quality issue.


• Responsible to optimize inspection time & Introduce checking fixtures/ gauges.


• Responsible to monitor and update green channel staus as per guideline.


• Responsible for mainatining skill matrix & quality trainings for team.


• Resposbile to implement IMS(QMS,EMS,ISO45001,EnMS) & IRIS system requiremnts and Group procedures.


• Responsible to manage for 3rd party testings (Chemical, Mechanical,Rubber) from NABL lab.


• Responsible to ensure layout ,MSA & SPC as per plan.


• Responsible for red bin analysis & settle supplier rejections with in time line.Mainatin necessary documentations/tranactions of Oracle..


• Responsible for Calibration and AMC for plant instruments, Gauges and Equipments.


• Responsible to update weekly/Monthly reports & present to Manager.


• Responsible to achieve allocated KPIs /KRAs and maintain monthly reports.

Encourage & participate in Quality, Cost saving projects, Kaizens & Suggestions.

• Authorize to stop the work in case of Quality & Safety rules are not being respected.
