Job summary

MAHLE Holding (India) Private Limited invites applications for a Foundry Production Engineer role based in Tamil Nadu. You will supervise shift and daily production planning, ensure safety and quality, monitor OEE across casting and machining, and drive CIP, TPM, and automation projects.

The position involves line balancing, loss analysis, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives in a high‑volume foundry environment.

Responsibilities

• Shift, Day, Weekly & monthly Production plan achievement, adherence
• Quality system adherence
• Gravity die casting, Melting, Metal treatment process control adherence record maintenance
• Set up record, Set up time adherence control
• First off approval record review, Approval
• Daily inspection record review, Approval
• Ensure safety adherence (PPE, Safety rules) confirmation.
• No stoppage of Pre- Machining, Machining due to casting shortage/Delay
• Shift start up meeting, Man deployment
• Hourly production monitoring in Casting, Pre-Machining, Action plan to improve OEE
• Loss monitoring, control over loss
• LCR follow up, receiving of die with confirmation of closure status.
• Monthly production loss analysis, action plan
• Implementation of TPM,5’S best practices
• Implementation of CIP Projects, Line balancing, VSM, VSD
• Implementation of Scrap analysis and reduction Projects
• Implementation of Cycle Time Improvement Projects
• Implementation Robot Pouring
• CIP Project Tracking and identification new idea and progress monitoring and Monthly review
