Job summary

MAHLE Holding (India) Private Limited in Chennai is seeking a production/ TPM specialist for the foundry. You will drive daily production plans, ensure process control for gravity die casting and metal treatments, and enforce quality and safety standards.

The role focuses on OEE improvements, CIP projects, and line balancing with routine KPI reviews. The position requires hands-on TPM experience, strong problem-solving and teamwork within a manufacturing environment, and familiarity with CIP and

Qualifications

• Experience in gravity die casting and metal treatment processes.
• Knowledge of TPM and CIP projects.
• Experience with OEE monitoring and action planning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shift-wise production plan achievement and adherence.
• Ensure quality system adherence and process control.
• Review set-up records and time adherence; manage first-off approvals and daily inspections.
• Ensure safety adherence (PPE, safety rules) and confirm no stoppage due to casting shortages/delays.
• Conduct hourly production monitoring in casting and pre-machining; develop action plans to improve OEE.
• Track LCR, loss analysis, and CIP/project progress; support monthly reviews.

• LCR follow up, receiving of die with confirmation of closure status.
• Monthly production loss analysis, action plan
• Implementation of TPM,5’S best practices
• Implementation of CIP Projects, Line balancing, VSM, VSD
• Implementation of Scrap analysis and reduction Projects
• Implementation of Cycle Time Improvement Projects
• CIP Project Tracking and identification new idea and progress monitoring and Monthly review
