Dy Manager- Casting

Location: Chakan, Nagpur Plant (FD), IN

Position: L80/L70

Reports To: Place of Posting Chakan, Pune

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Good knowledge and experience of casting component development (foundry processes and machining)
• Drawing study and providing technical feedback to design team
• Floating RFQ, TSO sign off with PCM and QS submission to SSU within timelines
• Ensuring first‑time right development with PERT chart tracking
• Exposure and skills in VPPAP activities and closures
• Scheduling of development parts and CDMM ownership parts
• Project coordination for a team at MRV
• Proto/RPT route component development
• Material availability at MRV for testing and validations requirements
• Commercial acumen, Capex and material cost

Job Requirements

• Experience: 4-8 years
• Qualification: Degree in Mechanical, Production or Automobile Engineering
• Skills: Good casting development knowledge, drawing study and analysis, casting process knowledge, VPPAP/APQP knowledge, proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and Powerpoint
• Good communication skills required for internal department, inter‑department and with suppliers
• Personality traits: competencies, agility, boldness
• General requirement: flexible to visit at supplier end as per business demand
