Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Thane, India seeks an Engineer – Plant Utility Operation and Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance of plant utilities and lead a field team. You will plan, monitor, and optimize utility equipment performance, while ensuring EHS compliance and ISO documentation.

The role requires 4–6 years of mechanical maintenance experience, with hands-on knowledge of air compressors, chillers, dryers, and related utility systems. Strong leadership and reporting abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech Mechanical with 4–6 years of operation and maintenance experience for utility equipment.
• Experience with air compressors, dryers, chillers, LPG/HSD yard, ETP/ WTP.
• Knowledge of EHS rules and ISO documentation.

Responsibilities

• Daily planning and monitoring of maintenance activity.
• Root cause analysis of breakdowns and reporting to customer.
• Spare monitoring and planning.
• Site KPI monitoring and actions to achieve the same.
• Lead the team with leadership at site.
• MIS report preparation and ISO documentation.

Qualification

• B.E./ B.Tech Mechanical with relevant experience of 4 to 6 years in operation and maintenance of utility equipment’s.

Desired profile

• Should well verse with EHS rules and procedures specific to service projects and services business.
• Should have In Depth knowledge of Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Utility equipment like Air Compressors, Dryers, Chillers, LPG / HSD Yard, ETP / WTP etc.
• Daily planning and monitoring of Maintenance activity.
• Root Cause Analysis of Breakdowns and reporting to Customer.
• Spare monitoring and planning.
