Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Engineer for Plant Utility Operation and Maintenance near Pune Sirur. The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining utility equipment and leadership at site.

Candidate should be proficient in EHS rules, 5S practices, RCA, MIS reporting and site KPI monitoring. Direct contract payroll, with responsibilities across maintenance and commercial activities at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Mechanical with 4–6 years of experience in operation and maintenance of utility equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of utility equipment like air compressors, dryers, chillers, LPG/HSD yard, ETP/ WTP.
• Should be well-versed with EHS rules and procedures specific to service projects and services business.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor maintenance activities daily and ensure timely completion.
• Lead the site team with a strong example in safety, quality and performance.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis of breakdowns and report to customers.
• Monitor spare parts availability and plan procurement as needed.
• Maintain site 5S practices and ISO documentation.

• B.E./ B.Tech Mechanical with relevant experience of 4 to 6 years in operation and maintenance of utility equipment’s.

Desired profile

• Should well verse with EHS rules and procedures specific to service projects and services business.
• Should have In Depth knowledge of Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Utility equipment like Air Compressors, Dryers, Chillers, LPG / HSD Yard, ETP / WTP etc.
• Daily planning and monitoring of Maintenance activity.
• Root Cause Analysis of Breakdowns and reporting to Customer.
• Spare monitoring and planning.
