Responsibilities

• Site preparation and marking as per project layout for start of activities.
• Material and workforce planning.
• Coordinate utility area activities during project execution.
• Verify drawings and ensure correctness; coordinate with consultant and project coordinators for deliverables.
• Plan piping materials and consumables per process requirements for procurement.
• Ensure implementation of specifications as per design.
• Drive timely project completion by coordinating contractors and site teams.
• Resolve execution issues with vendors, consultants, and the site team.
• Plan and manage commissioning spares.
• Implement maintenance management systems and prepare maintenance schedules.
• Identify spare requirements and prepare procurement indents.
• Ensure uninterrupted utilities availability within budgeted energy and spare parts norms; inform operations before handover.

Job description

Project Implementation

• Site Preparation & marking as per the project layout to start site activities
• Material & workforce planning
• Coordinating the activities related to Utility area during the project execution stage

Ensure Correctness of specifications wrt to design

• Drawings study and ensure their correctness.
• Coordination with consultant and project co coordinator for right deliverables
• Freeze requirements for piping material and consumables as per process requirements for procurement
• Ensure implementation of specifications as per the design

Timely completion of project

• Closely coordinating with various contractors for deployment of workforce based on the stage of the activities in line with Project schedule
• Resolving issues related to execution by coordinating with vendors, consultants and site team.
• Plan and managing commissioning spares.

Implementation of maintenance management systems

• Preparing the maintenance schedules for stable operations
• Identifying the spare requirements and prepares the indent for the procurement of the same.
• Ensure uninterrupted utilities availability for plant operation within budgeted norms for energy consumption and spares are detailed and informed to operations team before handing over the plant

Inventory control

• Ensure advance information is available to the procurement team on the requirement of various spares and consumables
• Monitor the site store and maintain inventories within the stipulated limits during the project phase.
• Follow the systems for Inventory control. Ensure that received inventory is inspected and in line of the specification as was considered during indenting.

Implementation of maintenance management systems

• Preparing the maintenance schedules for stable operations
• Identifying the spare requirements and prepares the indent for the procurement of the same.
• Ensure uninterrupted utilities availability for plant operation within budgeted norms for energy consumption and spares are detailed and informed to operations team before handing over the plant
