Job summary

L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC is seeking a Sr. Engineer – Lean Six Sigma Facilitator at Coimbatore Campus. The role focuses on driving a culture of excellence, delivering Lean improvements, reducing cycle time and defects, and leading deployment across manufacturing/Shops and Planning.

A PGDFM and Six Sigma mindset are key for the position. The incumbent will lead daily review meetings, drive WIP/scrap analysis, and ensure ISO-aligned standards while contributing to customer

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Exposure to manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Identify bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and cut costs.
• Lead Lean deployment across operations and Liaise with Planning/Shop floors.
• Develop and validate standard work and process controls.
• Monitor KPI scorecards and drive sustained improvements.
• Present project requirements to production and planning departments.

Roles and Responsibilities - Lean Six Sigma Facilitator

Responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization.

improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at

reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process.

New process improvements in bottleneck areas to reduce cycle time, increase

productivity and reduce defects.

Giving presentation to manufacturing Shops /Planning Department for gathering

project requirements.

To Accelerate Proliferation of lean culture throughout the organization by co

leading and facilitating lean deployment.

Ensuring continuous improvement in product quality to enhance customer

satisfaction and increase the production performance.

Daily review meeting to be conducted, debug WIP, scrap and summary of the KPI

score card should be used to drive for improvements.

Executing cost saving techniques to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures

within the budget and reduction of in process rejection using Lean tools.

Analyzing production performance with respect to customer delivery index and

planned efficiency.

Perform assessment of LMT Operations/supply Chain/Office and drive initiatives

to close gaps.

Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs

ISO 14001:2004 standards by maintenance of requisite documentation.
