Overview
Assistant Manager – Continuous Improvement will focus on Lean Six Sigma tools within Texmo Blank, leading operational excellence initiatives across multiple industry sectors such as automotive, engineering, foundry, chemical, cement, rubber, pharma, and energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Texmo Business System Lean House Steps and tools to deploy operational excellence.
- Facilitate Strategic Planning and Strategy Deployment through Hoshin Kanri.
- Adhere to 14 guiding principles of TBS Lean Leadership and act as a change agent at the Gemba level.
- Implement Structured Problem‑Solving techniques to resolve problems permanently.
- Drive Breakthrough Kaizen events and achieve tangible results.
- Implement Standard Work (Eight Steps) including product selection, takt & target CT calculation, capacity validation, current state time observation & SWCS, future state definition, optimization, SOP/SOS implementation, sustain, review & continuous improvement.
- Lead and facilitate training within industry jobs (Job Instruction, Job Methods, Job Relations).
- Apply Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and TPI methods to improve operational/transactional performance.
- Apply pull‑system techniques to reduce lead time of value streams.
- Train, coach, and mentor operators, SMLT leaders, white‑collar employees, value‑stream leaders, and CFT teams.
- Challenge Value Stream Managers for performance optimization.
- Apply DMAIC and Six Sigma tools to reduce variations, perform statistical analysis, and drive decision making.
- Conduct training and coaching for white‑collar employees.
- Communicate MIS and project results.
- Apply PDCA in project management and lead high‑impact projects to deliver significant tangible results.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of Lean Six Sigma experience in Automotive, Engineering, Foundry, Chemical, Cement, Rubber, Pharma, or Energy industries.
- Proven track record applying DMAIC, Six Sigma, statistical tools, and Kaizen events.
- Strong data‑driven and analytical skills.
- Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and change management abilities.
