THE OPPORTUNITY

- Senior Consultant Forward-Deployed Engineer (AI Solutions) In this role, as a Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer (AI Solutions), you will lead the end-to-end AI implementation lifecycle for enterprise clients-from technical discovery and architecture design to configuring, building, and deploying autonomous AI agents. Functioning as a high-visibility technical leader and strategic advisor, you will guide Director- and VP-level executive stakeholders through complex AI deployments while partnering directly with Xactly s Product and Engineering teams to feed field insights directly back into our core AI product roadmap.

WHAT YOU LL DO

• Architect & Deploy Enterprise AI Agents: Design, configure, and deploy production-grade autonomous AI agents, LLM orchestration frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures tailored to complex customer environments.
• Lead Strategic Discovery & Technical Architecture: Lead technical requirements gathering and discovery sessions with Director- and VP-level client executives, translating complex revenue and incentive compensation workflows into scalable AI solution designs.
• Shape Core AI Product Roadmap: Serve as a primary technical feedback loop to Xactly s Product and Engineering teams, translating field requirements and deployment insights into actionable product enhancements.
• Orchestrate & Integrate Complex Data: Build and manage enterprise data integration pipelines using advanced SQL development, REST APIs, webhooks, and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Drive Technical Excellence & Mentorship: Establish deployment best practices, author technical documentation, and mentor team members across the Customer Value Consulting group to elevate technical execution capabilities.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize AI Performance: Resolve high-complexity technical hurdles, optimize model responses, and ensure enterprise-grade security, performance, and scalability across all live customer implementations.

WHAT YOU LL BRING

Must-Have Skills

• Experience & Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field with 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in AI/ML Engineering, Technical Solutions Architecture, or Technology Consulting in enterprise SaaS.
• AI & Data Mastery: Advanced proficiency with LLM orchestration frameworks, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and deep SQL development across relational databases.
• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Proven track record of leading complex technical projects and managing Director- and VP-level client relationships with exceptional technical communication and advisory capabilities.
• System Integration & SDLC: Deep technical understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), REST APIs, webhooks, microservices, and enterprise data orchestration.
• Technical Leadership & Problem Solving: Strong capability to lead technical work streams, mentor technical peers, and solve intricate technical bottlenecks under tight project timelines.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Domain Expertise: Experience in Incentive Compensation, Sales Performance Management (SPM), or Revenue Operations frameworks.
• Advanced AI Technologies: Hands-on exposure to vector databases, agentic computing patterns, or low-code/no-code integration platforms.
• Enablement & Assets: Proven history of developing internal training frameworks, standardizing implementation methodologies, and creating reusable technical deployment assets.
