Lead AI Automation Analyst
About Xactly
Xactly is the global leader in AI-driven Sales Performance Orchestration. We help enterprise organizations align revenue strategy with execution — connecting planning, incentives, and performance in one Intelligent Revenue Platform. Trusted by thousands of companies worldwide, Xactly empowers sales teams to perform at their peak.
About the Role
In this role, you will be a key driver within our Product Operations team, shaping the future of intelligent automation, product analytics, and operational excellence at Xactly.
Operating as an elevated player-coach, you will blend strategic vision with high-level technical execution—architecting sophisticated AI-powered workflows, automated integrations, and custom internal applications—while providing functional leadership across product operations, platform governance, and product analytics. You will collaborate directly with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Go-To-Market stakeholders to transform complex operational challenges into scalable, enterprise-grade systems while raising the technical bar, setting governance standards, and mentoring team members across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Build & Deploy AI Automations: Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade automated workflows, agentic AI patterns, and low-code/no-code applications using modern integration platforms (e.g., Workato or equivalent) and custom APIs.
- Oversee Product Operations & Tool Governance: Establish and enforce governance, access management, workflow optimization, and administration standards for core Product Operations and product analytics platforms (e.g., Pendo).
- Lead Product Analytics Scope: Function as a player-coach to drive the product analytics function—establishing robust measurement frameworks, usage tracking, and executive dashboards to evaluate tool adoption and roadmap impact.
- Integrate & Centralize Data: Architect SQL-based data models and robust API integration pipelines connecting multi-source datasets into cohesive, queryable systems during ongoing platform and infrastructure transitions.
- Streamline Operational Workflows: Partner cross-functionally to identify operational bottlenecks, map end-to-end workflows, and optimize delivery efficiency across product development and cross-functional teams.
- Mentorship & Change Enablement: Provide technical leadership, training, and documentation to upskill team members, driving organizational change management, platform adoption, and continuous process improvement.
- Govern & Scale: Define and uphold best practices for solution architecture, risk mitigation, data security, and platform documentation to ensure automations are built for long-term maintainability and enterprise scale.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills
- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on, high-impact technical experience in Product Operations, Business Systems Analysis, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting within a SaaS environment, with a proven track record of driving complex cross-functional initiatives.
- AI & Automation Architecture: Demonstrated mastery in designing and deploying production-quality automated workflows, agentic AI patterns, and integration workflows using enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Workato or equivalent).
- Data & API Proficiency: Deep proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and REST APIs/webhooks for orchestrating multi-source SaaS data architectures across evolving tech stacks.
- Platform & Analytics Governance: Hands-on expertise governing enterprise Product Operations tooling and product analytics platforms (e.g., Pendo) alongside establishing strategic measurement frameworks.
- Elevated Player-Coach Leadership: Strong ability to balance master-level individual technical contribution (building complex automations and system integrations) with mentoring team members, establishing operating standards, and defining technical direction.
- Communication & Strategic Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Domain Knowledge: Exposure to Sales Performance Management (SPM), Sales Planning, or Incentive Compensation frameworks.
- Advanced Analytics & BI: Hands-on experience with visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and modern cloud data warehouses.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, systems architecture design, formal process mapping, and organizational change management.
