Job summary

Brisa Technologies in Pune, Maharashtra, seeks a Sr. BMC Helix AIOps Event & Automation Engineer to own event intelligence, automate remediation, and reduce noise by correlating monitoring signals with ITSM and monitoring tools.

The candidate will design and tune event correlation rules, build self-healing workflows with Python, Shell, or PowerShell, and integrate Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, or Splunk with Helix AIOps while following ITIL processes. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Hands-on administration and configuration of BMC Helix Operations Management (On-Prem).
• Design and tune event correlation, noise reduction, and situation management rules.
• Apply AIOps concepts: anomaly detection, baselining, root cause isolation to reduce alert fatigue.
• Integrate monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, etc.) with Helix AIOps via APIs/connectors.
• Build automation/self-healing workflows using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Integrate AIOps output with Helix ITSM, aligned to ITIL incident/problem management processes.

• Design service-aware monitoring and alerting, consuming topology from CMDB Data Architect.
• Build dashboards and visualizations (Helix Dashboards or similar) for operational reporting.

Role Summary

Own the event intelligence and automation layer correlating monitoring signals into actionable insights, reducing noise, and driving remediation through integrations with ITSM and monitoring tools.

Must-Have Skills

• BMC Helix Operations Management (On-Prem): hands-on administration and configuration.
• Event correlation, noise reduction, situation management hands-on rule design.
• AIOps concepts: anomaly detection, baselining, root cause isolation.
• Monitoring tool integration (at least 12 of Nagios/SolarWinds/PRTG/Splunk) with Helix AIOps.
• Scripting/automation (Python/Shell/PowerShell) for remediation workflows.
• ITSM integration (Helix ITSM) and working ITIL knowledge.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Dashboarding/visualization experience (Helix Dashboards or equivalent).
• Familiarity with CMDB data structures (as a consumer, not owner).
• Hybrid environment and modern observability tool exposure.
• BMC Helix AIOps certification.
