BMC is seeking a Java Tech Lead to join our team working on the Helix Capacity Optimization product. Your role will include:

1. Designing scalable, reliable, and high-performance software.
2. Developing and maintaining features using Java.
3. Designing and maintaining AI/ML pipelines with Python and industry-standard frameworks.
4. Collaborating with AI researchers and data scientists to deploy machine learning models.
5. Implementing prompt engineering and LLM optimization strategies.
6. Troubleshooting complex technical issues.
7. Improving methodologies, processes, and tools.
8. Leading projects and mentoring new team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 12+ years in Java backend development.
• Experience as a Backend Tech Lead.
• Proficiency with Spring, Swagger, REST API, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Python, Node.js, C/C++, and automation frameworks.
