Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holders in accounting/commerce/finance related fields.
• Knowledge of AR processes and cash applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and email/fax invoices or send hard copies as requested.
• Understand cash allocation in remittances with deep validation and reporting to the business.
• Process cash applications and allocate payments according to remittances.
• Coordinate across AR entities and monitor aging buckets.
• Act as SME for AR processes and maintain SOPs and updates.
• Handle client queries and provide resolutions across departments.

Job Description

Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests. Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution. Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
