Job summary

Posidex Technologies in Mumbai is hiring for SQL-Application Support. Local male candidates preferred; Marathi and English mandatory. Required BE/BCS/BCA/MCA/M.Tech IT/MSc IT with 60%+ in all academics.

Experience: 2-4 years in BFSI domain with strong SQL/PLSQL, Linux, performance tuning and troubleshooting skills. Training will be provided in Hyderabad for 45-60 days; willing to travel for training and work anywhere in India.

Qualifications

• 60% and above (First class in all academics (SSC, HSC/12th/Diploma, Degree/PG) is required).
• Written Test (Aptitude & Technical(SQL)) will be conducted online.
• Technical Interview and HR Round of Interview will be virtual Interviews for Mumbai/Pune candidates.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth and clear exchanges of information.
• Should have in-depth working experience with SQL and PLSQL to write efficient, scalable, and optimized SQL queries. Should be able to develop complex joins, subqueries, and stored procedures to support application needs.
• Monitor, identify bottlenecks and optimize SQL query performance to enhance efficiency and reduce system resource consumption.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Linux environments. Experience with troubleshooting system-level issues is highly desirable.
• Ability to work from any location in India and be flexible with shifts, ensuring 24/7 operational support.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or others) is preferable,
• Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Capable of debugging application, system, and database issues and offering timely resolutions.
• Conduct regular health checks on applications to ensure seamless operation. Perform necessary housekeeping tasks to maintain system efficiency, including log management, backups.
