Job summary

Posidex Technologies in Mumbai is seeking an SQL-Application Support/Developer with 2–5 years of experience. The role requires fluency in English and Marathi, and local Mumbai/Pune residency. Training for Hyderabad will be provided after selection.

Qualifications

• Qualification: BE/BTech/BCA or MCA with specified degrees.
• 60% or First Class in all academics across SSC to Degree/PG.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Write efficient, scalable SQL queries with joins, subqueries, and stored procedures.
• Monitor and optimize SQL query performance to improve efficiency.
• Work with Linux environments; troubleshoot system-level issues.
• Be flexible with shifts and provide 24/7 operational support from any location in India.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is preferable.
• Perform regular health checks, log management, and backups to maintain system health.

1. Degree: B.E/B.Tech/BCA
2. (or)
3. PG:
   • MCA with Degree (B.E/B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc(IT) only) or
   • M.Tech-IT with Degree (B.E/B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc(IT) only) or
   • M.Sc-IT with Degree (B.E/B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc(IT) only)

Note: 60% and above (First class in all academics (SSC, (HSC/12th/Diploma), Degree/PG) is required).

Exp: 2-5 years only

Work Location: Mumbai and willing to work anywhere in India.

Note :

1. Written Test (Aptitude & Technical(SQL)) will be conducted online.
2. Technical Interview and HR Round of Interview will be virtual Interviews for Mumbai/Pune candidates.
3. After Selection, Training will be given in Hyderabad for 45-60 days.
   (Candidates need to come to Hyderabad for Training).

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate strong communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth and clear exchanges of information.
2. Should have in-depth working experience with SQL and PLSQL to write efficient, scalable, and optimized SQL queries. Should be able to develop complex joins, subqueries, and stored procedures to support application needs.
3. Monitor, identify bottlenecks and optimize SQL query performance to enhance efficiency and reduce system resource consumption.
4. Demonstrate working knowledge of Linux environments. Experience with troubleshooting system-level issues is highly desirable.
5. Ability to work from any location in India and be flexible with shifts, ensuring 24/7 operational support.
6. Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or others) is preferable,
7. Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Capable of debugging application, system, and database issues and offering timely resolutions.
8. Conduct regular health checks on applications to ensure seamless operation. Perform necessary housekeeping tasks to maintain system efficiency, including log management, backups.
