Join our engineering team as a Database Developer, where you’ll build and optimize database solutions that support high-performance, scalable applications. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability. This role offers hands‑on ownership, exposure to scalable architectures, and the opportunity to grow your expertise while working on meaningful, business‑critical data challenges.

• Design, develop, and maintain database objects in line with business requirements and best practices.
• Create and manage database structures including tables, views, indexes, and constraints.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, CLR procedures, and Full-Text Index queries.
• Work extensively with T‑SQL constructs such as SELECT/INSERT/UPDATE statements, joins, subqueries, correlated queries, CROSS APPLY, OUTER APPLY, temporary tables, and table variables.
• Implement and optimize indexes (clustered, non‑clustered, covering, and filtered) for performance improvement.
• Analyze and tune existing SQL queries and database objects for performance and scalability.
• Work with dynamic SQL and debug issues effectively.
• Perform data validation, data fixes, and data analysis as per business requirements.
• Support database activities across development, testing, and production environments.
• Handle DB‑related issues, bug fixes, and change requests in coordination with development, QA, and support teams.
• Ensure adherence to data security, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation for database changes, scripts, and processes.
• Understand and apply database concepts such as transactions, locking, concurrency, and constraints.

Requirements:

• Strong hands‑on experience with MS SQL Server (2016 or higher).
• Proficiency in T‑SQL and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Solid understanding of joins, subqueries, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Understanding of database normalization and basic database design concepts.
• Familiarity with deployment processes (preferred).
• Quick learner with a proactive and self‑motivated approach.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
