Role Description

The Speech role is a full-time, on-site position based at SKS Hospital & Postgraduate Medical Institute in Salem. The professional in this role will assess, diagnose, and manage speech, language, and communication disorders for patients across different age groups. Typical day-to-day tasks include conducting clinical evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed. The professional will also educate patients and families about therapy goals and home-based exercises, participate in case discussions, and contribute to quality improvement and clinical training activities within the institute.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or Communication Disorders from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
